OMTech Polar
The OMTech Polar combines impressive performance with a compact design, ideal for small spaces. Measuring 970 x 565 x 234 mm and weighing only 47 kg, it is 80% smaller in volume than conventional 50W machines, while still offering a 510 x 300 mm working area, equivalent to that of larger models.
At the heart of this machine is a 50W CO₂ laser, capable of achieving an engraving accuracy of ±0.01 mm and a maximum resolution of 1000 dpi. Its power allows it to cut materials such as walnut up to 15 mm thick and acrylic up to 20 mm thick. Its high engraving speed of up to 500 mm/s ensures optimal productivity for a variety of projects.
The OMTech Polar features a 5-megapixel panoramic camera, providing a precise preview of the work area. This feature facilitates pattern alignment and allows for remote monitoring of engraving progress via the software. Two included rotary axes enable 360° engraving on cylindrical or conical objects, offering increased flexibility for complex surfaces.
The machine is equipped with an integrated water cooling system, which minimizes its footprint and optimizes laser performance. In addition, an external extraction system with an airflow of up to 600 m³/h effectively removes fumes and particles to maintain a clean working environment.
In terms of safety, the OMTech Polar is certified as a Class 1 laser thanks to its enclosed design, locking system, emergency stop button, and water flow monitoring mechanisms.
Operation is simplified by a motorized focus adjustment, accessible via a control panel. This feature ensures optimal sharpness, whether for detailed engraving or precise cutting.
The OMTech Polar is compatible with software such as LightBurn and RDWorks and supports numerous file formats (.ai, .bmp, .svg, .pdf, etc.), offering flexibility to adapt to different workflows. Connections via Wi-Fi, USB, or Ethernet ensure easy integration into various professional environments.
With a laser tube lifespan of up to 11,000 hours and a comprehensive two-year warranty, including one year for the laser tube, the OMTech Polar is a reliable and durable solution.
Supplied with a full range of accessories, including rotary axes, a duct fan, acrylic sheets, and tools, it meets the needs of ambitious creators or professionals looking for a compact and high-performance machine.
xTool M1
The xTool M1 stands out for its ability to combine three essential functions in a single machine: laser engraving, laser cutting, and blade cutting. This versatility makes it compatible with a wide range of materials, including wood, vinyl, PVC, leather, paper, fabric, anodized metal, cardboard, felt, opaque acrylic, and ceramic. This versatility makes it suitable for both creative projects and professional applications.
Equipped with a high-resolution 16-megapixel smart camera, the xTool M1 allows you to preview your projects live and perform batch processing. Combined with Creative Space software, it simplifies the design process and minimizes the learning curve for beginners while offering advanced features for experienced users.
Thanks to its dual-beam laser and point compression technology, the M1 guarantees ultra-fine engraving precision down to 0.01 mm. It can cut through materials like wood up to 10 mm thick in a single pass, while maintaining an impressive engraving speed of up to 15,000 mm/min.
The xTool M1 is also designed for safe operation. FDA Class I certified, it features a blue light filtering viewing screen to protect your eyes. Its enclosed design prevents fumes from escaping, while the integrated fan and exhaust hose quickly eliminate odors. A fume purifier can be added for even more effective filtration.
In addition to these features, the xTool M1 comes with a complete kit including cutting mats (light and heavy grip), replacement blades, and an exhaust hose kit, providing everything you need to get started on your projects right away.
However, some materials are not suitable for the M1, including clear plastic, soft metals like gold or copper, and food. For specific metal engraving applications, the xTool 1064 infrared laser is recommended.
With a 10W laser power output and an integrated ventilation system, the xTool M1 is ideal for both home and professional use. Compatible with Creative Space software (though not directly supported by LightBurn), it adapts to a variety of workflows.
The xTool M1 combines power, safety, and versatility, making it an ideal tool for creators seeking a comprehensive and intuitive machine.
Creality Falcon 2 Pro - 22W
The Creality Falcon 2 Pro 22W stands out for its power and advanced features, suitable for both amateurs and professionals. With a 22W laser power, achieved through FAC dot compression technology, it combines four 6W laser diodes to deliver fast, deep, and precise cutting. It can cut materials such as basswood up to 15 mm thick, black acrylic up to 10 mm, and sheet metal up to 0.1 mm in a single pass.
Its integrated precision positioning camera ensures optimal project alignment, even on curved surfaces, while its built-in air assistant guarantees clean cuts by automatically or manually adjusting the airflow to eliminate fumes and protect the lenses.
The machine complies with European Union safety standards (Class 1 certification) and incorporates robust safety features: a transparent red visual cover effectively filters the laser light to protect the eyes, and the system automatically shuts off if the cover is opened.
